Exciting to be a motivator

I was just browsing through other peoples' blog's and I went into Ansh's blog (pudhumai + penn)
In her blog, she said that my brother and I motivate her. I found it very exciting to be called a motivator. I don't know where Ansh has gone because her last blog was in 2005. Now we are back and I hope we can motivate her again and bring her back to blogging.

I was looking through my old blogs and I saw that Ansh had asked what I like about space. I like Saturn (pictured). I had an interest with Saturn from a very young age because of the rings. My mum taught me about planets when I was 1 year old. I was already hooked to it at that age.
When I was about one and a half years old, my amma gave me a Mars bar to eat. I left it on the table and went out to play. Meanwhile my amma had moved the Mars bar from the table. I came into the kitchen and asked her where Venus was. She first did not understand but then thought I wanted to know about planets again. So she told me about the planets and the order. I said, "No, where is the Venus I left on the table?" She then realised that I was talking about the Mars bar. I knew that the chocolate was named after some planet but I couldn't remember which planet !!

Book Review : The magic faraway tree

The Magic Faraway Tree

This book is written by Enid Blyton. If you like books, I suggest you read about fantasy just before you go to bed to have a nice sleep. This book is definitely for you. The magic faraway tree is about three children (Beth, Joe and Fanny) who move to the country side. Little did they realise that the tree next to their house is a magical tree. The children decide to explore. They find this tree and start walking up the branches. They find this odd little man called Moonface and a beautiful little fairy called Silky. They make friends with them and ask what is so special about this tree. Silky tells them that everyday a new world will appear on top of the faraway tree. Beth, Joe and Fanny decide to go to every single land that comes. The children have their ups and downs but have the best time in the world. The children visit the land of birthdays and even get lost in some of the lands.

I love this book because it gave me a lovely good night's sleep

My friend the animal girl

How often do you hear a person say they have a cat, a dog, a snake, a fish, a mouse, a bird and a bearded dragon? Not big news for my friend. She has 2 cats, 3 dogs, 4 snakes, 2 bearded dragons, lots of mice, lots of birds and lots of fish!
We have had lots of fun at their house. Come with me on the journey of the animal girl.
One day my mum had come to pick me up with my little brother from my friend's house. My brother was very interested with the four snakes they have. My friend's mum took out a snake and put it on my brother to play with while she he waited for me. In that time my friend's mum was feeding the bearded dragon. The bearded dragon would not come when she held out a wriggling worm from a can. She said, "Come on, come on" (in a very, very, very Australian accent sounding like 'came on, came on'). My mum was there and she didn't feel really comfortable. She said she was shuddering inside with a can of worms open right next to her. Poor mum. My brother was having a jolly good time.

My friend once brought one of her fully-grown pythons to our girl guides for 'Pets Show and Tell'. Since I don't have a pet, I took a stuffed toy. My friend put the snake on her neck and it started choking her. My brother had the same snake on his neck and it was very calm and contended!

My friend's dad wanted to re-do the swimming pool so when he took the floor covering of the pool there was a blue tongued lizard staring at him.

My friend's snake gave birth to babies so now they are selling the baby snakes. If they kept the baby snakes they would have to build a new room for all of them.

I hope you guys have had fun on this journey of My friend the animal girl.
Tune in for next time!

Funny Animals

At school we have to write stories about animals. One project is a humorous one. Here are some funny animals. These three are all different true stories

When I went to my friend's house, it was feeding time for the cat. The mum gave the cat a bowl and food. The cat ate some and then when the mum went out of the room the cat ran to the fish tank. The fish tank was huge. I told my friend who was in the next room and she came running and pulled the cat away. The cat waited for my friend to leave. The cat jumped on the couch and onto the table where the fish tank was. The cat put it's paw in and tried to reach for a fish. Instead he fell in. My friend and her mum came in and saw the cat in the tank. We all laughed so much.

My friend has mice and she loves them a lot. The problem is, she loves them too much. One time she was holding one and she was saying how cute it was. She didn't realise she was squeezing it too hard that it's eyes popped out of the socket. Poor little mouse. Doesn't have eyes anymore.

I was watching Animal planet one time and it showed a segment called 'Funniest outside animals'. I only watched for the last 5min so there was only one animal. The animal was a llama. The llama saw other llamas going and so it decided to join its friends. The llama tripped and fell face first into a puddle of mud. They didn't show how the llama came out of it.

Have you got any funny stories with animals?

In my next blog I will tell you about my friend who has unusual pets.

Ellam therintha Ekambram-Part 1

In a remote village called Mayavooru there were lots of innocent farmers. If they had any doubts they would ask Ekambram mama. Ekambram is a living encyclopedia. Ekambram solves all strange questions of the innocent villagers by giving explanations. The people would queue in front of his house even before he would wake up to report all the unusual things happening around them.

As usual at the dawn the villagers went out for their farming. As they were going they saw a quick moving, zig-zag thing. There was only one way to find out. Ekambram mama was the one to tell them what it is. They all went to Ekambram mama's house to find out. When they reached there as usual Ekambram mama was studying. When Ekambram mama opened the door they were all saying we saw a saw a quick moving, zig-zag thing. Ekambram said show me that thing and I will try to find out what it is. When they reached there it was still there and Ekambram said it is a beauty I am going to try and find out what it is. Ekambram then went home and he studied overnight and finally at 05:30 he said, "Here it is it is a konaca manaca kutti". He then went to the farm and told them what it was a konaca manaca kutti. They were all happy and started saying he has done it again.

The end

Can you guess what the konaca manaca kutti is? Then give me your answer. I will say the answer on Monday or Sunday.

Butterflies

When my mum was little she was at home with her mum. So when my Patti knew she was bored she gave a pack of 50 marbles. My mum thought that the colour inside the glass were butterflies. She wanted to save them, so she broke 15 of them and then she thought, "why aren't they coming out?" So she broke another 10 and then she gave up.

How funny! Thank You!

Charlie and the chocolate factory

Today I saw Charlie and the chocolate factory. It was rude when Jonny Depp was being mean to everyone(exept to Charlie Buccet). I was wondering if it was really real. I really wish I got to go there. It would have been really exciting. Imagine yourself opening on Wonka chocolate bar and seeing a Golden ticket in your hand. How wonderful!I would definetly would want the special prize.

Tsunami

On the 26 of December 2004 I had a big, scary and sad experience.I saw the Tsunami in real. I can remember it like it was just yesterday. One normal day (you wish) any way it wasn't THAT normal it was quiet shakey.

How come I did not get to feel it (because I was sleeping on the bed)? I was very dissapointed. My mum and brother felt it but didn't know what it was. My mum thought it was my brother-Vyaas shaking the bed. Hehehe.Only my dad knew because he was in the bathroom. How he came to know it was because the bucket filled with water started shaking. It was an earthquake!

Afterwards when we all woke up my dad was going to his uncle's house. It was near the beach, so he asked us all whether we wanted to go to the beach afterwards? My cousins and I all went to the beach. It started normally but then (here comes the CLIMAX). We went very close to the beach and there were so many people. We wondered what the fuss was and found out about the first Tsunami. I was bold enough to go and see it and the others said they do not want to go any closer to see what happened.

On the way I saw people crying on the side road (it was really sad). When we reached there my dad and I saw a cow being airlifted. I also saw some ladies saying that they could not find their husbands, in tamil. I saw a huge wave coming so my dad and I ran. When we reached back home my face was fully red. It was a really touching and scary experience.
Thank you for reading.

Story Time

Today I am going to tell you a story but I do not have any ideas. If you have any ideas please tell me so I can write one.
